Uva-ursi Complex is a combination of herbs formulated by Alfred Vogel to relieve the symptoms associated with urinary tract infections. It works as a urinary antiseptic, and its action is of benefit in cystitis caused by bacteria or fungi. Uva-ursi or Bearberry is a small woody shrub, which thrives in the mountains of Alfred Vogels native Switzerland. The origin of its name is unclear but it is suggested that bears may have eaten the fruit with relish.
